B.S. in Biology
James Madison University (VA, USA)

Daniel Chovil was born in Bogota, Colombia. He was raised in the Washington D.C. area where an early interest in natural sciences and exposure to the political system got him excited to learn how to solve problems environmental across the world.
Danny studied biology at James Madison University and went abroad to New Zealand and Australia with SFS in the summer of 2016. After graduating he interned at the Wilderness Society, an animal rehab center, and coached crew. Later he worked for the Student Conservation Association as a conservation crew leader working on trail maintenance and tree surveys across the D.C. area´s natural parks.
In his free time Danny likes to free write and make up his own stories. He likes to read sci-fi or fantasy novels when he can´t think of what to write or if he´s feeling lazy. He´s been affectionately called the best cook in his house back home (by him), and he loves working out or going for a run when he has a free hour or two.
