This four-week course explores the ecological and evolutionary forces that led to marsupial dominance in Australia and the challenges threatening their survival today. Through a combination of lectures, guided fieldwork, and site visits, you’ll examine how these species have adapted to Australia’s fluctuating and often harsh environments. You’ll learn how to identify marsupial species, assess habitat quality, and apply non-invasive research techniques.
