Advising for SFS Programs

Working With SFS

We're here to Help.

SFS provides a transformative international educational experience for undergraduates across the U.S. From initial inquiry and advising through on-program support, we work closely with sending schools throughout the study abroad journey to ensure the highest level of service. We collaborate with schools in many ways such as:

  • Attending study abroad fairs and visiting classes to talk about SFS programs
  • Hosting advising sessions and pre-departure orientations
  • Meeting with advisors and faculty to discuss the SFS program model
  • Answering questions regarding admissions, safety, academics, and more
  • Building long-term relationships to support your institutional goals
  • 24-hour support while students are in the field
  • Coordinating peer outreach with our network of Campus Reps

While our Institutional Relations Managers serve as your primary contact, our Academics, Admissions, and Safety & Student Life departments are happy to provide you with additional support.

We work with Ivy League universities and community colleges; public and private institutions; schools with over 50,000 undergraduates and schools with less than 200 students. SFS supports a diverse student population and offers financial aid packages in conjunction with any aid granted by the student’s home institution.

A formal agreement is not necessary to send your students on SFS programs, but if you would like more information on partnering with SFS, please contact Amy Burrows, the Director of Institutional Relations.
