Hello! My name is Olivia and I’m the Health and Wellness Manager for SFS Bhutan. Growing up, I was obsessed with animals and nature and Jane Goodall was my absolute hero. I attended the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington and graduated in 2020 with a degree in Biology with an emphasis in Natural Science. During my time at Puget Sound, I was lucky enough to study abroad with SFS not just once, but twice. I studied in Tanzania in the fall of 2018 and in Cambodia in the summer of 2019. The Directed Research that I conducted in Tanzania was focused on the efficacy of different mitigation techniques to deter elephant crop raiding in the local community, and this research was eventually published with the assistance of our advisor. Since completing my SFS programs, I have been so eager to work as a Health and Wellness Manager and make sure students have the same wonderful study abroad experience that I had!

My personal interests include hiking, swimming, playing cards, photography, and anything coffee related :). I’m so excited to meet all the incoming SFS students. Thank you la!
