Profile

Anna, a French native from Paris, has always believed in the power of creative content in bringing environmental issues to the forefront and making science more approachable for everyone. Anna completed a semester study abroad program with the School for Field Studies in 2017 in Cambodia. Following her experience, she interned at the Panama center in 2018.

Since then, as a filmmaker, Anna has been privileged to travel extensively, capturing and documenting the endeavors of numerous SFS Centers worldwide. Fluent in three languages—Spanish, English, and French, and an avid traveler, Anna has had the privilege of merging her passion for storytelling with scientific knowledge by directing and producing two documentary films: Pursuing the Monarchs and Seeds of Sovereignty.

Recently graduated with a Master’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of Edinburgh, she aims to leverage her newly acquired knowledge to further bridge the gap between science, art, and people. Beyond her professional life, Anna enjoys hiking—she completed her first 10-day through-hike, the Tour du Mont Blanc, in 2023— diving, cooking plant-based meals, yoga, and spending time with her family and friends.
