My experience with SFS in Tanzania really changed my career trajectory. I loved my time there so much and am still in touch with many of the people I met there.

Upon completing degrees in Political Science and Sociology, I joined the Peace Corps as an education volunteer in Tigray, Ethiopia. For the past 5 years, I have been working with the international NGO No Means No Worldwide to scale up an evidence-based sexual violence prevention program through local implementing partners.

I live in Chicago and am passionate about spending time outdoors, biking, yoga, reading, and dancing as much as possible!

Favorite SFS Memory: Watching a storm roll in over the baobabs of Tarangire Park in Tanzania and singing with all my new friends as the rain started gently falling.
