I started a native plant nursery in 2014 after leaving my 13-year career as a Senior Aquarist at The New England Aquarium. The Monarch Gardener has expanded to a permanent location in Topsfield MA and is one of the largest independent native-only nurseries in Eastern Massachusetts. Plus, I get to play in the dirt all day.

Favorite SFS Memories: Being surrounded by a herd of elephants. The sound of Africa waking up at dawn. Monkeys stealing our stuff. David’s banana pancakes. Driving down the Rift Valley.
