Profile

I grew up on a farm in a small town in Massachusetts and have always had a passion for animal and human rights. As I continued my education, I found Global Studies, which allowed students to pick specific concentrations while learning a core curriculum based in advocacy, service, and systems thinking. I focused on wildlife management and environmental sustainability in school, and now volunteer in different roles to support animal rights in MA. I work in child welfare, advocating for the rights and futures of youth in foster care, so my career and volunteer roles have come full circle from where my childhood passions began.

Favorite SFS Memory: While tenting in the Serengeti National Park, our group went out and got stuck in a rain storm. We were able to keep the roof open and just enjoy the downpour all together, while laughing, in the middle of a gorgeous Park, viewing immensely beautiful wildlife. Nothing can beat the smiles we all had that day!
