Profile
I am a 2-time SFS alum, having participated in two US based programs: studying spinner dolphins in Hawaii during the summer of 1987, and humpback whales off the coast of New England during the summer of 1989. Although I loved my experiences with SFS, it did help me determine that Marine Biology was not my career choice. I studied Art History during undergrad and Sculpture for graduate school. Currently I am an artist living in Venice, CA and I teach art at a local college. I feel very lucky to have found my passion and even I get paid to do what I love!
Favorite SFS Memory: I’ll never forget leaping off the lava rocks into the ocean, living on the beach and casually strolling through the trees to observe the sunset every night, or the sight of the dolphins off the bow of our zodiac in crystal clear waters. So many beautiful moments!
