I am an Environmental Analyst at Environmental Design & Research in Syracuse, NY. Our company works to develop sustainable energy within New York State, and my role is to analyze data from the field to incorporate in permitting applications. So far, I’ve been involved in solar panel and wind turbine projects, and some smaller scale Department of Transportation renovations that aim to improve water quality.

I am super excited to one day return to Australia to incorporate what I’m learning on the job, and hopefully pursue environmental education, which is my ultimate goal!

Favorite SFS Memory: I have so many SFS memories to choose from! A few that stand out are feeding the birds at Bird World in Kuranda on a long weekend, starting a prank war in the cabins, and snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef.
