Mark Raskopf is a senior research analyst and portfolio manager for Russell Investments on the hedge fund team. Mark manages Russell’s commodity portfolios benchmarked to the Bloomberg Commodity Index and heads coverage of tactical trading strategies including discretionary and quantitative macro, managed futures, commodities, and quantitative equity strategies. He joined Russell Investments in 2011 and has 31 years’ experience in asset management.

According to Mark, he grew up in Darien, CT and against all odds he still lives there! He has been married 22 years and has three sons: two still in high school and one in college.

Favorite SFS Memories: The outings to places like Lake Barrine to see the giant Kauri pines. Also a few stops at the pub in Yungaburra, and for sure the mid-term break. I rented a motorcycle & rode up the Bloomfield Track to Cooktown. It was amazing. But the other students in the program were really the greatest part of the experience. After the program, seven of us flew to New Zealand and drove a minibus around both the south & north islands…it was incredible!
