Profile

I am currently a full-time student, working part time at the Aliance for Aquatic Resource Monitoring. I am majoring in biology and environmental science with a minor in archeology. I aspire to one day become an ecologist, botanist, or wildlife biologist. I enjoy reading, writing, and drinking tea. I love all things outdoors, but I especially love backpacking and whitewater rafting.

Favorite SFS Memory: One night towards the end of the program, a group of us went out to try and experience the bioluminescence between Bastimentos and Isla Solarte. We had already failed once before, but this time we could see it. It was a particularly clear night so we could see the Milky Way above us and the bioluminescence below. The sky and the sea reflected each other so it looked like we were floating on a sea of stars. It was incredible laughing and talking with people I had grown close to, surrounded by this incredible sight that I would never have experienced back home.
