about
Profile
I am a communicator, collaborator, writer, planner, and community-builder. My current role is in public affairs with the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), where I connect with communities and other stakeholders about EPA’s work to protect human health and the environment in the Pacific Southwest.
In the past I have worked in climate/clean energy advocacy, media/communications, and publishing. I graduated from Scripps College with a BA in English and UC Berkeley with a Master of City Planning.
Favorite SFS Memory: I cherish so many memories from Cambodia/Vietnam. Traveling along the Mekong River, witnessing environmental degradation and protection firsthand, and meeting wonderful people along the way was formative. Ultimately, this time in life helped me make sense of the interconnections between ecology, economics, politics, and culture across the world.
