Profile

After completing my undergraduate degree in Biology-Environmental Studies, I worked for several years at Olympic National Park as a biological technician studying intertidal fish communities, where my SFS experience came in very useful.

I currently work in healthcare, serving my community through leadership at a Community Health Center. I trained as a pharmacist and after eight years working in primary care with people with diabetes, I transitioned into healthcare quality.

Favorite SFS Memory: Loved studying sea turtles! My sister followed me to Baja California for the SFS term after mine. I returned the following summer to conduct research for my undergraduate thesis on the feeding habits of Black Sea Turtles.
