Profile

Beth began her career as an engineer with a globally recognized environmental consultancy firm before joining General Electric as a multi-site Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager. She later transitioned to Ingersoll Rand Company to lead Lean/Six Sigma and EHS for multiple locations throughout North, Central and Latin America. While with Ingersoll Rand, she was among an elite cohort selected for a company-sponsored Master’s of Business Administration program and recognized with several awards for her leadership on various initiatives, including an “Inspiring Progress within the Community” award for her personal efforts fundraising for breast cancer research.

Now their Chief Sustainability Officer, Beth joined Aptar in 2013 to develop the company’s initial sustainability strategy. Shortly thereafter, she was tapped to develop a global EHS strategy as well. Additionally, Beth supports Aptar’s employee resource groups (ERG) as a founder of the women’s council and former chairperson of the LGBTQ+ ERG.

Aptar is decorated with multiple diversity, equity and inclusion awards and as an industry leader enabling circularity of plastic packaging, all while boasting world-class safety rates. Thanks to the leadership provided by Beth and her team, Aptar holds a Platinum Level EcoVadis rating and has been A-listed on the CDP Climate Assessment.

Beth lives in North Carolina, U.S.A. with her son, Luke. Together they enjoy various watersports, Geocaching and mountain biking. On behalf of Luke, she is actively involved with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), recently rebranded to BreakThroughT1D.
