The SFS Center for Sustainable Development Studies’ staff and students deeply mourn the passing of Yendry Viquez Arguedas, Program Assistant. Yendry joined SFS in 2008 and since then was a fundamental asset. Her joy, service, generosity, and people skills will not be forgotten. In addition to facilitating our community outreach, Yendry always sought to help others, whether it was getting food or clothes for a family in need or organizing a Christmas party for under-resourced children. Her sudden departure is difficult to process.
