During the SFS application process, you will complete the forms needed to process your SFS transcript upon completion of the program.
The final decision regarding credit and grade transfer rests with your home institution. You should check with your advisor or registrar when applying to our programs to learn how your SFS coursework will be eligible for credit in your degree program.
It may be helpful to bring an SFS syllabus with you to facilitate this conversation. You can find sample program syllabi under the Resources section of each program page.
ACADEMIC CREDITS
Most SFS students are registered at and receive transcripts from the University of Minnesota, our School of Record. The only exceptions are students from schools that accept SFS credit directly.
