Originally from Rhode Island, Andrew went to Whitman College in Washington State for his degree in English and Education. After completing a Masters in teaching in New York City, Andrew returned to Washington to begin his career as a high school teacher. Over the next seven years Andrew taught in schools in Ecuador, Japan, and San Francisco. During most summers, Andrew also worked as a backpacking guide in New Mexico and, later, Yosemite National Park. In 2021, he transitioned to a nomadic lifestyle as an educator for traveling Gap Year semesters. He is excited to return to South America and settle back into a more routine life as the Health & Wellness Manager for the SFS Chile campus. Andrew loves nature, is a certified Yoga instructor, and happily identifies as a bookworm.
