Bárbara joined The School for Field Studies as an Admissions Assistant in August 2022 and became the Admissions Manager in November 2024. She was born in Argentina and spent most of her time between Buenos Aires and Patagonia where her family lived. She got her B.A in Political Science at the University of Buenos Aires and spent lots of time travelling. After going on many trips, she decided to move to New York and worked as a Freelance Journalist for Environmental Magazines. Her connection to Patagonia, travel, and her love for animals and nature inspired her to work for SFS and help students go through the same transformative trips she was lucky to experience.
