Staff Profile
I grew up with a deep love and respect for the outdoors and a strong desire to travel. After graduating from Rutgers University with a degree in Journalism, I began my career working in travel PR working with hotel clients in Europe and Central America. In 2022, I decided to start a new adventure and moved to Prague, Czechia, where I taught English and yoga classes for two years. During this time, I was able to check off bucket list hiking and bike-packing adventures throughout Europe while having Prague as my home base. I loved creating a little home for myself abroad and navigating through the challenges, joys, and the personal growth that come with the experience.
The connections you make within the community and other expats, the cultural immersion, and the personal growth that accompanies the experience is so singular and something I will always cherish and I am excited for the opportunity to support SFS students along a similar journey of life abroad.
This summer I’ve been working as a Sea Kayak Guide and Naturalist leading multi-day kayak camping trips throughout the San Juan Islands off the coast of Washington. I love outdoor guiding and sharing my enthusiasm for nature and adventure with others and being able to deeply connect guests to the area’s wildlife, history, and remote islands only accessible by boat. I’m also a certified RYT 200 hour yoga instructor and have been teaching yoga for the last 5 years. I love being able to hold space for others to slow down, turn their attention inward and connect to themselves.
I am so excited to welcome students to SFS Australia for an incredible semester of learning, connection, and growth!
