Staff Profile

Holly earned her BA in Anthropology with a minor in Zoology from the University of Texas. She studied primate behavior and maintains a strong interest in studying primates in the wild. During college she traveled as much as she could visiting Australia, Kenya, Madagascar, and Nicaragua.

Her love of travel and adventure continued when she joined the Peace Corps in Panama. She was a Marine Conservation Educator working in a rural indigenous community in Bocas del Toro. After completing her service, she worked as a zookeeper and completed her MA in environmental studies at Prescott College. Holly is glad to be back in Panama and looks forward to sharing her passion for the country with SFS students.
